Full of coastal climbs: shorts and sharps with breathtaking views of the coast and the sea, Maresme is part of the North Coast of Barcelona, and probably the most popular area for roadies and triathletes. Discovering the North coast of Barcelona by road bike is the best way to do it.
From our headquarters, we will cross the city where you should be able to see “The Forum” and “Barceloneta”. We will head up to one of the most popular climbs around the area: “Conrería”.
David Millar attacked here in the 2003 Tour de France. Back down heading to the interior, we will take the “Carretera de la Roca”, a quiet winding road that will take us to our second bump of the day: “Col de Orrius”.
From the top, you will have splendid views of the whole region. We will do a small loop then through Col de Parpers heading back to Barcelona, where we will have the option to enter the city through a last climb.
