Sitges and its coastal roads are usually highlighted amongst the local club rides. The blue mediterranean seas covers most of the horizon with winding and rolling roads next to the shore. “La hermita” is a beautiful climb with a single lane road with very little traffic an beautiful views of the whole area.
After riding through Sitges we will get into the Garraf Natural PaKr, full of limestone hills, which in contact with water and air, have eroded over time to form caves, potholes, sinkholes and limestone pavements. A beautiful mediterranean landscape. We will descent the “Rat Penat” climb, a challenging descent only for the faint hearted!
For less experience riders, or if you want to take it easier, there is the option to ride out and back to Sitges skipping the hills of the Garraf Natural Park. Then it becomes a easy-medium rolling ride with no major climbs and more suitable for the recreational rider.
